Racing Laps for Best Friends is a program designed to increase
awareness of Best Friends Animal Society by way of a
Motorsports Marketing Program. The Racing Laps for Best
Friends program kicked off in 2007 with the Freedom 100
at the famed Indianapolis Motor Speedway. Through
the at-track Information Booth and this website,
the program finished the 2007 season
raising more than $50,000 for Best Friends
Animal Society and received incredible
responses from race fans, animal lovers
and media alike.

The 2008 Firestone Indy Lights season and Racing Laps for Best Friends program kick off at Homestead-Miami Speedway on March 29. In 2008 we have added a variety of aspects to make giving more fun, more meaningful and to make watching the races a little more enjoyable. We have also added some more information about Best Friends to the website including a “Racing to the Rescue” section and a case study on the dog at Best Friends that I sponsor,
