Trouble Strikes Best Friends Animal

JOLIET, Ill., Sept. 9 - Andrew Prendeville
finished just four laps of
Sunday's Indy Pro Series season finale at
Chicagoland Speedway
before the engine blew in the Best Friends
Animal Society No. 5.
Prendeville started the 67-lap race in ninth
position, but the
Morristown, N.J.-based driver ended up 21st in
the final rundown.
He finished 11th in the 2007 drivers
championship, just seven
points out of tenth. His team, RLR/Andersen
Racing, placed 13th
in the entrant standings.
Sunday's race will be broadcast at 5 p.m.
Eastern time Thursday,
Sept. 13 on ESPN2.
Although the Chicagoland race was the last Indy
Pro Series event of
the year, fans have until Sept. 27, 2007 to
purchase raffle tickets at
racinglapsforbestfriends.com as another
fund-raiser for Best Friends.
The prize is premium 2008 Indy 500 tickets
donated by
the
Indianapolis Motor Speedway. The drawing will
take
