2008 Indy 500 Ticket Raffle Winners Announced!
Emblematic of the partnership between Best Friends and racecar driver Andrew Prendeville, the two winners of tickets to next year’s Indianapolis 500 are a race fan and a Best Friends member. In a drawing held last week, Sue Lerud of Page, Arizona, and Shea Bishop of Independence, Kentucky, each won a pair of tickets to the “The Greatest Spectacle in Sports,” and auto racing’s most enduring and legendary event.

Engine Trouble Strikes Best Friends Animal Society No. 5 Sunday at Chicagoland
Andrew Prendeville finished just four laps of Sunday's Indy Pro Series season finale at Chicagoland Speedway before the engine blew in the Best Friends Animal Society No. 5. Prendeville started the 67-lap race in ninth position, but the Morristown, N.J.-based driver ended up 21st in the final rundown.
