Pittsboro, IN August 27, 2009 - TMR driver Andrew Prendeville moved up to tenth place in the Firestone Indy Lights championship point standings
after finishing 13th in the Carneros 100 at Infineon Raceway on Sunday, August 23rd in Sonoma, CA.
The team and Andrew are now focused on the last two races of the season, both oval tracks, both 67 lap/l00.5 mile races. With Chicagoland
Speedway this weekend and the final race of the season set for October 9th at Homestead-Miami Speedway.
“The race in Sonoma didn’t work out as planned, qualifying was extremely tight,” said co-owner Mark Moore. “I just couldn’t believe that we got
caught out on stickers with full course yellows twice in one session. We are all looking forward now to the high banks of Chicago,” he
continued.
“Andrew and our oval car have really come together; I expect great results in the last two races. We’ve had some really tough luck this year,
but Andrew has persevered and has moved up to the top ten in points. We’re optimistic about how far we can move up in the remaining events of
the season,” concluded Moore.
